Samba: An anti encroachment drive was Tuesday carried out at village Bara of district Samba, where 35 Kanal prime state land was retrieved from illegal possession.
On the direct supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria, the anti encroachment team led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur, C P Kotwal and others reached the encroached site and pressed in multiple JCB machine for demolition of concrete structures including boundary walls, pavements, sheds, RCC structures raised over the illegal possession of state land.
During the drive, Tehsildar Vijaypur, Pardeep Singh, Inspector, Karnail Singh besides other field staff of revenue and JK Police were also present.
