DPEO B’pora issues notification for Phase-V of DDC, Panchayat By-Elections

Bandipora: District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Sunday issued notification for phase fourth of Panchayat bye-elections for the vacant Sarpanch and Panch seats of the Panchayat Halqas of Arin block and District Development Council-Arin Constituency of district Bandipora.
According to the DPEO, the last date for filing nomination is 23 November 2020 while the date of scrutiny is November 24th. Last date for withdrawal of candidature is 26 November 2020 while polls are scheduled to be held on 10th December.
The nomination paper in respect of both vacant Sarpanch and Panch seats can be obtained free of cost from the concerned Returning Officers from their Office headquarters.
For Panchayat Arin-A, Arin-B, Balhama, Dardpora, the nomination papers shall be available at HSS Arin while for Konan, GundiQaiser, Gundpora and Rampora nomination papers shall be available at MS Konan.
For Shokh baba RA, T A Shah and C A Khan, nomination papers shall be available at MS CA Khan while for Sumlar-B and Kudara nomination papers shall be available at M S Sumlar.
For the election of District Development Council in the fifth phase of the polls in Arin constituency, the last date for filing nomination papers is 23 November 2020 while 24 November 2020 is the date of scrutiny. Last date for withdrawal of candidature is 26th November while these constituencies will go for polls on 10th December 2020.
The nomination paper in respect of DDC members can be obtained free of cost from the concerned Returning Officers from their Office headquarters. For Arin block, nomination papers shall be available at HSS Arin.
The Nomination papers shall be duly filled up in the office headquarters of Returning Officers concerned or at designated ARO office or in the office of ARO (HQ) located at Mini Secretariat DC Complex Bandipora.
