Weather Advisory: Bandipora-Gurez road closed for vehicular movement

Bandipora: The 84-km Bandipora-Gurez road was on Friday closed for the vehicular movement in view of the weather advisory issued by a local Meteorological department.
An order issued by Sub Divisional Magistrate Gurez, reads that in view of weather advisory issued by Meteorological department regarding heavy snowfall from today, it is hereby ordered that all types of movement (Vehicular/Public) shall remain suspended on Gurez-Bandipora road from 5 PM 13-11-2020 till furthers orders.
According to an order Station House Officers Gurez & Tulail and Incharge Police Post lzmarg will ensure the implementation of the order in letter and spirit.
Pertinently, the Gurez valley which is located on the Line of Control usually experience heavy snowfall during winter season and remains cut off from rest of the Valley for more than six months
