Bandipora: For the Phase Ist of DDC, Panchayat by-elections as many as 198 nomination papers were received at Gurez, Tulail and Sumbal Blocks of Bandipora district on the last date of filing of nomination papers.
A total of 34 nomination papers were received for Phase Ist of upcoming DDC elections on 3 seats at Gurez Tulail and Sumbal, 18 nomination papers were received for six vacant Sarpanch seats and 146 nomination papers were received for 99 vacant Panch seats before the Returning Officers.
As per the information received all the nominations were found correct and none of the nominations were rejected in the first phase.
