Bandipora: For the upcoming District Development Council (DDC) and Panchayat by-election, the District Administration Bandipora on Friday continued its special training program for the polling staff.
On the occasion, the District Level Master Trainers imparted training to the polling staff including General Line Teachers, Patwaris, Agriculture assistants, senior assistants and forest guards in two sessions under the overall supervision of Nodal Officer Trainings, Mohammad Rafiq Parray.
The training is being imparted to the concerned Polling staff at Bandipora, Sumbal and Gurez. The Nodal Officer Trainings said for the remaining phases the training among the concerned staff shall be imparted on the similar pattern and in this connection the district administration has already identified the designated locations all across the district.
On the occasion, Nodal Officer Trainings briefed the polling staff about their role and responsibilities and asked them to ensure that all instructions regarding poll day be implemented in letter and spirit.
The DEO said all facilities are being made available for the polling parties and special care has been taken for their safety and security.
For the convenience of polling staff coming from far flung areas, he said the nearby locations have already been identified where training to the concerned polling staff will be imparted as per already notified dates/days.
