DC chairs Revenue officers meet at Shopian

Shopian: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin today chaired a meeting of revenue officers here to discuss encroachment on state land, completion of Jamabandi, Roshni act format and submission of weekly report.
The laws relating to removal of encroachments from such lands were also discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC directed the revenue officers to retrieve all the encroached state lands and book the offenders found involved in occupying the state land illegally.
He exhorted upon the revenue officers to work with dedication and leave no stone unturned in completing the Jamabandi in all respects and keep the records ready whenever asked for them, besides he also stressed for weekly submission of reports on this behalf.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Zainapora, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shopian, all the Tehsildars besides other concerned officers and officials attended the meeting.
