17 Inf Brigade holds free medical camp at Reshwari Handwara, distributes 200 anti covid kits among locals

Srinagar : 17 Infantry Brigade Nowgam on Tuesday organized a free medical camp for the locals at Reshwari Mawer Handwara in which large of people from the nearby villages such as Nowgam, Reshwari, Puthwari participate and were given free medicines and anti Covid Kits.
Army Doctor attended the patients and also provided them free medicine, and also briefed the participants and gave them precautions how to prevent from Covid19. During the medical camp approximately 200 Anti Covid kits containing one sanitizer, Hand wash, masks, two pairs of gloves and soap etc were given to every participant. Later on Army with local sarpanch visits nearby village and distributes Covid kits to several villagers.
The official said the aim of this medical camp was to prevent the locals from the deadly virus which has consumed lakhs of lives across the globe so far.
Sarpanch Nazir Ahmad and other locals hailed the Army efforts and also said such kind of medical camps will held in future as well
