Online Meeting of the Executive Body of JKCCA held

Jammu : An Online Meeting of the Executive Body of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was held under the Chairmanship of Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President JKCCA on 8th November, 2020 to finalize the programmes and activities of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu for the period of December, 2020 to April, 2021.
The following office bearers and member(s) of JKCCA attended the online meeting held under the chairmanship of Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President, JKCCA: Mssrs. D P Abrol, Vice- President, O P Sharma, Director, Anita Sharma, Tresurer, Sahil Bhardwaj, General Secretary, Amit Magotra, Member, Ravi Kumar, Member, Dr. Alamdar, Consultant and Jang S. Verman, Advisor to JKCCA.
The fallowing activities/ events have been finalised in the meeting after discussions: Solo Exhibition of Paintings by Tariq Saifi, an artist from Surankote (Poonch) during the month of December, 2020; Online Artists’ Directory of Visual Artists of Jammu & Kashmir to be released during January, 2021; 9th International Exhibition of Art- 2021 (Online) to be organized during February, 2021; Online Solo Show of Paintings by Prof. Sunil Saxena, a renowned artist of Lucknow to be organized during March, 2021; Online International Artists’ Camp during the month of March, 2021 and a National Exhibition of Paintings by the Contemporary Artists of India to be organized Gallery T 47 Anand Art Mission Art Gallery, Haridwar (UK) during April, 2021. O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA gave a brief of the events and activities undertaken by JKCCA in the past, during this year. It may be mentioned that JKCCA, established in 1999, integrates itself with the functions of visual arts, literature and performing arts. It has organized on the spot art competitions for children, state and national level art camps & workshops, art exhibitions in and outside the state. JKCCA has so far organized eight international and many national and state art exhibitions and art camps in different parts of the country.
