Meanwhile in a brief interaction with media after filing his nomination papers,Rather said EJAC is largest and only organisation which represents 4.5 lakh employees of Jammu and Kashmir. The organisation is working for the welfare & betterment of employees of J&K & it’s for the first time electoral process is taking place in EJAC & the move has pinned hopes in the world of Trade Union. He said restoration of democratic process will strength the platform and will bring in transparency and accountability in the working of the leadership and added that since he has a long journey in trade unionism thus can well understand the pros and cons of it.
