SSRB examination arrangements reviewed at Gbl, Kulgam

G’bal: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, (DDC) Shafqat Iqbal Thursday chaired a meeting to review the arrangements being made by the different departments for smooth conduct of OMR based objective type written examination for Accounts Assistant (AA), Panchayat being conducted by J&K Service Selection Board.
ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ASP, CPO, CEO, district officers, Principals of various institutions and representatives of government and private institutions attended the meeting.
At the outset, the DDC was informed that the examination shall be held on November 10, (Tuesday) from 12 noon to 2 pm at 24 examination centers in the district.
It was decided that Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and supervisors shall be engaged for the purpose. It was also informed that videography of the examination process would be done in all 24 examination centers.
Information Centre Ganderbal was asked to prepare the list of videographers and submit the same to the Office of CEO Ganderbal for further course of action.
The Assistant Regional Transport Officer was directed to provide vehicles for ferrying of examination papers from the strong room to the examination center. He was also asked to submit a transport plan immediately.
EO Municipality was asked to carry fumigation in those centers which were designated as Covid Care Centers earlier.
The Health authorities were directed to ensure implementation of SOPs issued by the government to prevent COVID-19 infections at examination centers.
It was also given out that the aspirants would not be allowed to carry mobile phones and other electronic devices inside the exam center.
The DDC sought cooperation from all the concerned departments for conducting free and fair exams and exhorted upon all the officers that all the arrangements pertaining to their Department shall be put in place well on time.
Meanwhile in Kulgam a meeting of officers under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat held here to ensure smooth conduct of forthcoming JK-SSRB exams in the district.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC ,ACR, JD-Planning, Nodal officers, Principals of degree colleges, ARTO, Tehsildars and other officers.
Later in a separate meeting Deputy Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat also reviewed arrangements which have been put in place for smooth conduct of class 10th and 12th exa
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure strict adherence to SOPs in view of COVID-19 pandemic at all levels and put in Coordinated efforts to ensure smooth conduct of all exam’s in the district.
