Dir JKIFTS holds a meet with Chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, discusses key issues on youth dev & innovation

Jammu: Director Jammu and Kashmir Innovative Foundation for Transforming Society (JKIFTS), Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo holds a meeting with Chairperson of Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, Tarun Uppal on Thursday.

The meeting was held in the head office of Nirbhay Bharat Foundation in Talab Tillo Jammu.

During the meeting the two heads of the respective organizations discussed some key issues with regard to youth development and innovation in Jammu and Kashmir and stressed on the need to address them.

“Many issues were discussed regarding youth empowerment, development, education and the need to bring various innovative initiatives in place in Jammu and Kashmir to explore the talent of youth in various fields at national and international levels.”, said Dr Tasaduk while talking to Kashmir Horizon.

Drug addiction was core among the discussion as the issue is becoming a serious menace in the society and unfortunately lot of youth are getting involved in this menace in Jammu and Kashmir.

The heads of the two organizations make an agreement to work together in eradicating the evil of drug addiction from the society and launch a well-organized drug de-addiction program to fulfill the core purpose of it.

The meeting ends with a fecilitation ceremony where Dr Itoo was fecilitated for his outstanding contribution as a doctor during ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, by Nirbhay Bharat Foundation chairperson and its members.
