Kotwal posted Inspector General Registration, Kabra to hold addl charge as Pr Secy & FC Revenue

Jammu/Nov,5: Jammu & Kashmir Government on Wednesday evening order a minor reshuffle to assign the full fledged charge of Inspector General Registration to Dr Pawan Kotwal and asked Shaleen Kabra, the incumbent Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department to hold additional charge as Principal Secretary to Government Revenue Department and Financial Commissioner Revenue. With this Kotwal will have now directed command and control over the officers of the Revenue Department designated as Registrars and Sub Registrars in case of the registration of land deals the powers of which were previously held by the judicial officers. An order issued from the Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department (GAD) reads as under:
Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS (JK:1994), Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, holding additional charge of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K and Inspector General of Registration, J&K, is posted as Inspector General of Registration, J&K.Mr. Shaleen Kabra, IAS (JK:1992), Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, shall hold the charge of Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department and Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
