Police sports festival concludes in Handwara, Kupwara

Handwara, Kupwara: Closing ceremony of Police sports festivals which started on 21st of October 2020 at DPL Handwara and DPL Kupwara were held in Handwara and Kupwara.
In Handwara, On the closing day, final matches of Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom & Chess were played. Worth to mention that various games including Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom & Chess were played during the festival.
On the occasion, SP Handwara Dr.G.V.Sundeep Chakravarthy, SDPO Handwara and DySP DAR Handwara felicitated captains of the Winning and Runner up teams with the trophies and cash prizes. Players with best performance during the tournament were also awarded by the officers.
SP Handwara while interacting with the players, congratulated the winner/runner up teams and expressed that J&K Police is committed to give boost to the sports and other youth development activities in the area and channelize youth energy in positive manner. SP Handwara also thanked the players, spectators and the people who witnessed the event and made the event successful. Pertinently, the event was organized by Handwara Police under the banner of Police Flag Day.
Similarly in Kupwara, the event witnessed hundreds of players from different areas of Kupwara who participated in different games including Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom & Chess with great passion, energy and enthusiasm.
On the occasion, ASP Kupwara Ifroz Ahmad and Dy SP DAR Kupwara felicitated captains of the Winning and Runner up teams with the trophies. Players with best performance during the tournament were also awarded by the officers.
ASP Kupwara while interacting with the players, congratulated the winner/runner up teams and expressed that J&K Police is committed to give boost to the sports and other youth development activities in the area and channelize youth energy in positive manner. ASP Kupwara also thanked the players, spectators and the people who witnessed the event and made the event successful.
