Srinagar/Nov,1: Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) and President CAPD (Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution) Employees Association Kashmir Aijaz Ahmad Khan on Sunday voiced his serious concern over police action against four protesting dailywagers of PHE department.
In a statement issued here on Sunday Khan said that police by registering FIR against four protesting employees that Government tends to take away the employee’s right to protest. Seeking the intervention of Divisional Commissioner (Kashmir), IGP (Kashmir) and Chief Engineer PHE (Kashmir) Khan sought immediate withdrawal of FIR against the four PHE daily wagers. He urged the Government to protect the legal rights of the daily wagers and other employees more so when they are protesting for the acceptance of their genuine and legitimate demands pending disposal for years and decades.
