Kishtwar The ISM department has provided the winter stock of AYUSH medicines to ISM Dispensary Ishtiyari Padder.
Nodal Officer ISM District Kishtwar, Dr Tariq Hussain visited the remote area on the direction of the Director ISM J&K and Deputy Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara to provide the supplies.
He met with prominent citizens and PRIs of the area and listened to their issues and problems related to health facility as the far flung area remains cut off during the winters due to lack of road connectivity.
He took stock of medicine at ISM Dispensary Ishtiyari and supplied all stocks of AYUSH medicines to meet the stocks till May 2021.
On the occasion, he also distributed AYUSH medicine among the general public on the spot and also checked and verified the available stocks at the dispensary.
He also apprised residents of the area about the benefits of Ayush medicines, Hygiene, and also briefed them about the Novel Coronavirus and the precautions and SOPs to curb its spread.
