Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and his four advisors Farooq Ahmad Khan, K K Sharma, Baseer Ahmad Khan and Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar have in their separate statements extended their greetings to the people of J&K on the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi.
In his message of felicitations, the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha hoped that the auspicious occasion would spread the message of oneness, peace and universal brotherhood among all the sections of the society. The Lt Governor has prayed for sustained peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and well-being of its people.
In his greetings, Advisor Farooq Ahmad Khan said the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) provides us opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Almighty for the entire mankind. He said this holy day marks the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whose life was an embodiment of love, equality and brotherhood.
In his message of greetings, the Advisor K K Sharma exuded hope that the auspicious occasion would usher in peace, prosperity besides spreading the message of compassion, mutual coexistence among every section of the society.The Advisor also appealed the devotees and people to religiously follow the protocols set in place for COVID 19 while celebrating and also carrying out their religious obligations.
In his message of greetings, the Advisor Baseer Ahmad Khan observed that Islam teaches us the values of brotherhood, simplicity, compassion and morality, all of which need to be followed wholeheartedly in everyday life.He prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
