Kulgam: District Industries Centre, Kulgam Wednesday organised an online training programme for MSMEs unit holders during which they were provided training about registration on Government e- marketing portal.
During the programme benefits/ advantages of GeM registration were enumerated by the master trainer.
The participants were also apprised about the procedures for registration on GeM portal to become part of the National buyer seller platform, and to get due recognition and acceptance for their products.
The participants were given detailed information about online procurement of goods and services and were made to understand all the procedures so their products become directly available for the government sector, PSUs for purchase on a large scale.
Procedures for e-bidding, reverse auction and demand aggregation etc was also elaborated to the participants during the training programme.
On the occasion the participants were also informed about financial discipline by bank officials and their issues besides queries regarding GST and tax payment were addressed by the concerned.
Among others, General Manager DIC, State Tax officer, LDM and other officers were present on the occasion.
