Debate “Role of police in nation building”, organized by Handwara police

Handwara: In league of ongoing Police Commemoration Day events, Handwara police Wednesday organized a debate on “Role of police in nation building” at Environment Hall Handwara.
The event was hosted by Dy SP DAR Handwara under the supervision of SP Handwara Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy. Teachers and students from various schools of Handwara, who explained and discussed the topic ‘Role of Police in Nation building’, participated in the debate.
The event was organized to pay homage to policemen who have laid their lives for the unity and integrity of the country as well as in protecting the life and property of the people.
On the conclusion of the event, tribute was paid to the policemen killed in action. Officers present on the occasion thanked participants for their active participation in honouring the policemen killed in action. The winners and runner up of the debate were appreciated and prizes/participation certificates were distributed among them.
SDPO Handwara, SHO Police Station Handwara, and other police officers were also present on the occasion.
