Kupwara: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg Wednesday asked the concerned executing agency to clear the work done liability of 15 Health and Wellness Centers of Health Department Kupwara, here.
The DDC said this during a meeting convened here to review the pace of progress of 15 Health and Wellness Centers. These centers have been upgraded last year under the Aspirational District Programme to upgrade the health care facilities in the district.
He also took review of additional one room accommodation for these Health and Wellness Centers and was informed that work is in progress at different stages of completion on all 15 additional rooms at a cost of Rs 5 lakh to each centre.
The DDC got feedback from each Block Medical Officer regarding the physical status of the additional accommodation.
He asked the concerned Executing Agency to make sure that the work is completed within 15 days positively on 13 centers, while as for two centers of Tangdhar, the DDC directed to withdraw the authorization from SICOP and handover responsibility to RDD for its timely execution.
Among others, Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Block Medical Officers, District Information Officer, representative of District Manager SICOP and other concerned were present in the meeting.
