Handwara: The inter Village Cricket Tournament was conducted by Naugam Brigade for nearby villages at Government Middle School, Lawoosa. A total of eight teams from villages of Lawoosa, Naugam, Mukaam, Sanzipora, Yehama, Chak Yehama, Puthwari and Reshwari participated in the tournament. The finals was held between Mukaam and Sanzipora on Tuesday.
The tournament was won by Sanzipora cricket team. The event was organised by Army to provide a platform to youth of the region to showcase their talent in the field of sports who participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The finals were witnessed by all Sarpanches and Numberdars of participating villages and local youth and children. Youth expressed their gratitude to the Army for organising such events and giving them a platform to hone their skills and excel in sports
