Advisor Baseer meets scores of delegations at Church Lane

Srinagar: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, took stock of people’s issues and concerns during routine public grievances redressal camp convened here Tuesday.
During the camp, Advisor Baseer Khan met several public delegations and individuals who apprised him of their issues and demands and sought an early redressal to the same.
A delegation of BDC Chairpersons and members from Veerinag apprised the Advisor of various developmental issues and needs of their area submitting a memorandum regarding the same. Their issues inter alia included up gradation of transformer, completion of left out road at Kapran, up-gradation of health facilities, establishment of Bank branch and other issues of public importance.
The Advisor, while interacting with the members of the delegation, assured them that all their genuine issues will be addressed on priority.
A delegation of contractors from Uri demanded release of their pending payments. Similarly, a delegation from Pulwama demanded removal of encroachment of land in their area and establishment of fruit Mandi.
Another delegation of people from Lalpora Kupwara demanded provision for better drinking water facilities and other issues.
Likewise, a delegation of panchayat members from Budgam met the Advisor and raised the issues of public importance of their respective areas.
Others issues raised during the camp included up gradation of roads, lanes and drains, land encroachment issues besides several other issues.
Several other individuals and deputations from Baramulla, Rafiabad, Sopore, Srinagar, Pulwama, Pampore, Pattan and other areas also met the Advisor and registered their issues and grievances.
Advisor Baseer Khan assured the visiting individuals and deputations that all their genuine issues would be examined for early redress. He also issued on the spot directions to the concerned officers to take cognizance of the issues pertaining to their departments.
