Ganderbal police facilitates Police Public interaction meeting

Srinagar: As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meeting was facilitated by Ganderbal Police at Chattergul Kangan area of Ganderbal while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS accompanied with SDPO Kangan and SHO Police Station Kangan. The meeting was attended by the respectable citizens of Chattergul and other adjacent areas of Sub Division Kangan including civil society members of District Ganderbal.
During the meeting, the participants raised various issues related to police and other civil departments. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
While addressing the participants, SSP Ganderbal said that the main aim of such Police public meetings are to strengthen relationship between Police and public and to aware people about evil activities. He also seeks help of the participants to share information of those miscreants whose activities are anti social so that Police will take action as per law against these miscreants. He advised the participants to maintain communal harmony.
The participants in the meetings assured their full cooperation in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.
