Art of O P Sharma displayed in Banaras

Jammu: Art of O P Sharma, a well known senior artist of Jammu & Kashmir has been displayed in the International Online Art Exhibition (w.e.f. 23rd- 29th October, 2020), organized by Sanskar Bharti, Banaras Hindu University and Departmentof Painiting, Faculty of Visual Arts, MMV, BHU, in connection with Durga Puja Celebrations. The exhibition was inaugurated by Baba Yogendra Ji, Patron & Founder Sanskar Bharti. Adwaita Gadanayak, Director General National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, Prof. Hiralal Prajapati, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, BHU, Prof. S Pranam singh, HoD, Deptt. Of Painting, Faculty of Visual Arts, BHU, and Prof. Inu Mehta, Principal, MMV, BHU were the esteemed guests on this occasion.
The painting of Sharma has been displayed with the works of Shyam Sharma, Patna, Adwaita Gadanayak, New Delhi, Prof. Pranam Singh, Banaras, Prof. Harshvardhan, Dharamshala, Prof. V Nagdas, Khairagarh, Sanskar Bharti, Banaras Hindu University and Department of Painting, MMV and others.
The painting is titled ‘Nature- Kashmir’ (Acrylics medium) and depicts the view of landscapic beauty of Kashmir, with the elements of one of the seasons in this region of the country. O P Sharma has displayed his art at International, National, Regional levels and in Group Art Shows in India. He is also the founder Director of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu which has conducted International ans National level Art Exhibitions and Camps. He has also been honoured at National and International levels by many organizations.
