Distt level debate “Role of present day policing in society and nation building”, organized by Ganderbal police

Ganderbal: In league of ongoing Police Commemoration Day events, Ganderbal police Saturday organized a debate on “Role of present day policing in Society and Nation Building” at Town Hall Ganderbal.
The event was hosted by DySP HQRS under the supervision of ASP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yehya. Noted experts and activists from Ganderbal including those from the field of Education and Law, participated in the debate in front of audience from across various strata of society. The panellists highlighted the positive role being played by the Police and also presented critical analysis and urged for speedy modernization in police organisation so as to make it more and more professional, people friendly and fulfilling expectations of society.
The panellists include Poet & Social Activist Mohd Sultan Shaeen, Socio-political Analyst Adv. Umar Wani, student activist Abid Nabi of GDC Ganderbal, Social Activist Bilal Ahmad Wani of Ganderbal, Sports activist Arshid Rasool, Syed Anayat from GDC Ganderbal, Insp Mudasir of PTS Manigam, Miss Tahira Noor from Kashmir University and moderator & anchor Shah Aijaz.
