Srinagar: Scores of students from Kashmir University and its affiliated colleges on friday expressed resentment against Kashmir University Department of law for delaying the final semester exam, saying that further delay in exam can cost them full academic year.
As per students they have appeared in the Post Graduate entrance examination (LLM) of various state and national Law Universities but their end semester exam are yet to be conducted by the Law Department.
One male student who wishes to hide his name said said that thousands of students are in dilemma whether KU will declare their Law degree result before the deadline or not.
It’s pertinent to mention that number of students got selected in CLAT, and AILET, LLM entrance exam and they have paid a huge amount for admission purposes but unfortunately due to further delay of exam they will not be able to complete admission formalities in these national law Universities.
As per majority of the student’s They have already given sacrifice of a year in this Five year degree course, adding how we can afford the loss of another year if KU fails to declare the result before the deadline set by the KU,” They questioned.
Students urged Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha led administration and Vice chancellor And Head of law department to look into the matter and redress their grievances lest they shall lose their year.
