Srinagar: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Friday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of prominent businessman of J&K, Dharam Vir Batra, who breathed his last in Delhi.
In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari termed the deceased a noble soul who had carved a niche in the field of business and was known across the region for his philanthropic activities. “His contribution in the field of creating academic and medical infrastructure in J&K and elsewhere in the country would be remembered by one and all. Late Batra ji was a down-to-earth person who always held the interests of the poor and economically underprivileged supreme in his business ventures. His demise has indeed created a void, hard to be filled,” Bukhari remarked.
Apni Party president also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength for his family, relatives and business associates to face this difficult time.
