Ramban: To promote sports culture and facilitate the local youth to hone their sports skills, a three day Volleyball tournament-2020 organized jointly by IRP 16th Battalion and Youth Association of Pernote was inaugurated Thursday by SSP Commandant IRP 16 Battalion, Amit Gupta, here at APC Pernote, Ramban.
As many as 08 teams from various parts of district Ramban are participating in the event.
The event was attended among others by Jeevan Kumar-SP, Rayaz Iqbal Tantray-SP and Anu Sharma-DySP IRP 16th besides a large number of locals including the panchs and sarpanchs.
Interacting with the players, the Chief Guest highlighted sports benefits to them and advised the players to show true sportsmanship while playing the game.
All the procedures of COVID-19 were followed while conducting the tournament.
