DC Poonch discusses arrangements for Dussehra, Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav Thursday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming Dussehra and Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi festival.
Threadbare discussions were held on the important arrangements, including uninterrupted supply of Power and water, medical facilities, security, adequate ration, sanitation besides others related issues.
The DC directed the officers of PHE and PDD to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply during the holy days and asked the Municipal authorities to ensure cleanliness for the conveniences of the devotees. He asked the police authorities to ensure adequate security arrangements.
The AD Food was directed to provide ration to the people in advance, while R&B department was directed to repair the roads, wherever required.
The CMO and EO Municipality were directed to arrange Sanitizers and Masks and make the arrangements for medical facilities. DDC asked to follow all the SOPs guidelines to avoid the risk of Covid 19 infection.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Angral, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Basharat Hussain, ACR, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, all concerned officers besides heads representatives of religious organizations and prominent citizens were present in the meeting.
