Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was on Monday injured in an attack in Gongoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.
An official said militants fired upon a joint team of forces near peaks automobiles in Gongoo area in which one CRPF man was wounded.
He identified the injured CRPF man as Bhupinder Singh of 182 battalion sustained bullet injury in his leg and was shifted to hospital for treatment.
The official further stated that area was immediately cordoned off to nab the attackers
