Shopian/Oct,20 : Two militants were on Tuesday killed in a gunfight with the government forces in South Kashmir’s Shopian distruct, said army .
On its twitter handle the Srinagar based Chinar Corps said ‘Two militants were killed during a gunfight in Melhora village of Shopian district. The forces recovered an AK rifle and a pistol from his possession”. However army said nothing about the identity and group affiliation of slain militants. The gunfight had started on Monday and continued for several hours before it finally came to an end on Tuesday morning.
