Bandipora police facilitates Police Public interaction meeting

Srinagar: Police public interaction meeting was facilitated by Bandipora Police at Mantrigam Pethkote while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday the Police said “meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Pethkote”, adding that “the meeting was attended by different sections of society and other respectable citizens of the area”.
“During the meeting, participants raised various issues related to police and other civil departments”, the statement said, adding that “ the chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal”.
Police in it’s statement further said that the main aim of the meeting is to facilitate interaction with community members and redress their grievances so as to create cordial police-public relationship.
The participants, according to the statement, assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and adherence to the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by civil administration & health department from time to time in view of Covid-19 pandemic.
