National Wildlife week: GCE Jammu hosts online painting competition

Jammu: Government College of Education, Jammu Tuesday organized an online painting competition to mark the National Wildlife week- on the theme ‘Sustaining all life on Earth’.
The event was organised by Prof. Harmanmeet Kaur, HOD, Department of Environmental Sciences, GCOE.
Students from various colleges participated in the painting competition.
Sapna Devi of Government College of Education bagged the first position, while Mriga Sharma and Diksha Maltonia of Government College of Education shared the second position and Janvi Choudhary of Government Degree College, Samba bagged the third position. E-Certificates were given to the winners.
The adjudicators for the event were Dr. Pinki Manhas, Assistant Professor Environment Sciences, Government Degree College Paloura, Mishriwala and Dr. Mosmi Raina, Assistant Professor Environment Sciences, GDC Samba.
Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal Government College of Education, Jammu lauded the efforts involved in materializing the event and hoped that the competition best served its purpose.
