Jammu: Directorate of Health Jammu, Tuesday organized a pledge taking ceremony as part of the Jan Andolan campaign on COVID-19 launched by Prime Minister, Narinder Modi on Oct,ober 8, 2020.
Jan Andolan campaign emphasizes on “Unlock with Precautions” i.e COVID Appropriate Behaviour is the New Normal. The three key messages being highlighted in the campaign are Wear Mask, Follow Physical Distancing and Maintain Hand Hygiene.
The COVID-19 pledge was taken by Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Renu Sharma and all Officers and Officials of the Directorate to spread the message of COVID Appropriate Behaviour among the masses by following physical distancing norms.
The participants pledged that he or she commits to be vigilant about the risk of Covid-19 and will take all necessary precautions like wearing a mask, following social distancing and maintaining Hand Hygiene to prevent the spread of this deadly virus.
