Srinagar: An elderly man was killed in a road accident near Ahmad’s hospital in Nowgam area of Srinagar on Saturday.
An official said the man was hit by a speedy Tavera near Ahmad’s Hospital and immediately was rushed to SMHS for treatment.
“He was declared dead on arrival at SMHS hospital.”
The official identified the deceased as Mohammad Muzamil (67), resident of Jawahar Nagar locality of Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Tavera cab was seized and the driver was also arrested by the Nowgam police.
A police official said that a case has been registered in this regard
