Srinagar: A 60-year-old pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a car near Noora Hospital in HMT area of Srinagar outskirts.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer that an Alto Car bearing registration number JK04E-7694 hit a pedestrian near Noora Hospital HMT Srinagar, when he was crossing the road, injuring him critically.
He was rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries, officials said, adding that deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Muhammad Ismail, son of Sheikh Ghulam Mohammad of Sadrebal Srinagar.
Meanwhile, local police has registered a case in this regard, they said, adding that they have also seized the vehicle and has arrested the driver of an Alto car—
