PHQ making all possible efforts at all levels for the welfare of Police Pariwar: DGP tells Regularized DySPs

Srinagar: A group of Gazetted Police officers who were recently regularized called on the DGP J&K Dilbag Singh at Police Headquarters and expressed their gratitude for solving the long pending demand of large number of officers.
ADGP Coordination PHQ, SJM Gillani, ADGP Hqrs./Law & Order J&K Abdul Ghani Mir, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, AIG (P) PHQ Rajeshwar Singh and other senior officers of PHQ were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP congratulated the officers and said that the regularization and seniority fixation was a long pending matter and during the last two years it was followed by Police Headquarters vigorously. He said that this will not only benefit the officers but will open up the promotion avenues in other ranks as well. He wished the officers good luck for the future and hoped that they will work with more zeal and zest. He expressed thanks and gratitude to Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K Manoj Sinha who took personal interest and intervened for speedy disposal of the long-pending issue.
The DGP thanked ADGP Coordination PHQ SJM Gillani, ADGP Hqrs./Law & Order J&K Abdul Ghani Mir, AIG (P) PHQ Rajeshwar Singh and personnel section of PHQ for working tirelessly and preparing a strong case. He announced cash reward and appreciation for the personnel and officers who contributed in the case. The DGP said Police headquarters is making all possible efforts at all levels for the welfare of Police Pariwar. He said many issues of JK Police have been addressed and added that those left out are being followed on priority basis.
ADGP (Coordination) PHQ SJM Gillani congratulated the officers and said that this will boost the morale of officers. He wished the regularized officers and hoped that they would work with more zest and zeal.
ADGP headquarters, A. G. Mir thanked the DGP for following the issue personnel and making it possible. He said that DGP J&K highlighted the issue at different fora which paved the way in resolving the issue.
