Ganderbal: Ganderbal police alongwith the team of revenue department on Monday destroyed wild bung in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagbal, Ganderbal.
District police Ganderbal alongwith the team of revenue department under the supervision of executive Magistrate have destroyed wild bung spread over several Kilometres along the roadside, falling in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagbal.
General public of the area have appreciated the action of Ganderbal police and have urged to continue such drive in nearby areas also.
People were asked to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood and police in it’s statement warned that people found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
“Our consistent actions against such anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace”, reads the statement issued by Police on Monday.
