Apni Party’s Rafi Mir demands early resumption of electoral process in JK

Srinagar: Apni Party has expressed the hope that centre would resume electoral process in Jammu and Kashmir very soon to ensure that aspirations of the people are address and people of Jammu & Kashmir usher in a new era of peace and prosperity.
Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir who alongwith the district president Anantnag Abdul Rahim Rather co-chaired a meeting of party office bearers mase the remarks during his address to the prominent party workers of the district at Dak Bunglow Khanabal.
Both the leaders called on the government of India to take an urgent call on conduct of elections for J&K as soon as possible. Due to the restrictions related to the COVID-19, the party had earlier decided to keep the physical meetings on hold and this was the Party’s first meeting of its kind, after the COVID restrictions were eased out in the district.
Prominent faces from all blocks and constituencies of the district attended the meeting. The participants who spoke on the occasion highlighted the issues and needs of their respective areas and assured the leaders of their efforts in the interest of the people and towards the development of the Party.
Gen Secretary of the Party and former legislator Rafi Ahmad Mir threw light on the political and the developmental agenda of the Party and said that Apni Party do not believe in hollow slogans and deceiving the people for any political mileage. “Apni Party’s politics is based on realism and it will promise only achievable goals,” he added.
The District President of the Party for Anantnag and former legislator, Abdul Rahim Rather spoke about the situations that prevailed after August 5th 2019 and said that his Party’s leadership is firm to fight the case, challenging the constitutional changes that took place on Aug 2019, seriously and firmly before the Supreme Court of India.
He said that his party is bestowed with a highly capable and efficient leadership who has the capacity and capability to make the dreams of the people of Jammu and Kashmir come true. Rather informed the members that the meetings at the constituency and block level will be started in the near future for which a schedule
will be chalked out and communicated to every member very soon.
