South Kashmir Gunfight: 2 Militant Killed

Srinagar: Two militants were killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and governments forces in Samboora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday afternoon.
Reports said that two militants has been killed in an ongoing encounter and the searches in the area is going on.
Official source also confirmed the killings of two militant and said the identification of the militant is being ascertained.
Earlier an official said that joint team of governments forces including Army’s 50RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the Cardon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area following the inputs of presence of militants and when the forces reached the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon them ensuing the gun battle and one militant got killed in the gun fight.
