Samoon inaugurates job fair at ITI Bagh-i-Dilawar Khan

Srinagar: A job Fair was organized Saturday here at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Bagh-i-Dilawar Khan in which 12 companies and 325 pass outs of the Institute participated for recruitment.
The participating Companies were Jamkash Vehicleads Pvt Limited Hyderpora, ALBA Power Pvt Limited Rangreth, Fungicides India Limited Rangreth, Kashmir Motora MA Road, Stag Trading International Srinagar, Saheb International Hyderpora, Continental Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning Rangreth, Oriental Stores Hari Singh High Street, AMCO Constructions Equipment Pvt Ltd Rangreth, Alfa Automobiles Karan Nagar, Metfab Pvt Ltd Rangreth and City Infra Ltd Rangreth.
The chief guest, Principal Secretary, School Education and Skill Development Department, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon inaugurated the Job fair in presence of Director, Skill Development, Sajad Hussain Ganai.
Dr Samoon, while addressing the ITI pass outs and the staff, said the job fair started from Sher-i-Khas ITI of District Srinagar would be extended to all other Districts. He stressed upon introduction of New Age Courses in the ITIs like IoT Technician (Smart City), IoT Technician (Smart Phones), IoT Technician (Smart Agriculture) IoT Technician (Smart Healthcare) Technician Mechatronics, Robotics etc.
He also stressed upon updating the curriculum and the machinery equipment of the ITIs to produce skilled manpower as per the market demand.
Among others present were Joint Director, Skill Development Kashmir, Farooq Ahmed Khan; Principal ITI Srinagar, Mohammad Ashraf Wani and a large number of students and concerned officials.
