Shopian: Department of Youth Services & Sports Shopian Saturday organized ‘Fit India’ programme at Sports Stadium here.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr Abdul Aziz, was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The ADC during his speech appreciated the Physical Education Staff of the district for the overall progress of students in the field of Sports and emphasized the role of sports for the overall development of personality.
During the programme, a friendly ‘Tug of War’ match was played between two teams of Physical Education Staff and the ADC distributed trophies among the winner and runner-up teams.
District Youth Services and Sports officer, Gurmukh Singh Dutta concludes the programme with a vote of thanks.
