Srinagar: The enforcement wing of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) on Friday demolished a structure at Hakeem Bagh Raqwalpora in uptown Srinagar
An official statement issued by Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) said that the demolition was conducted under the supervision of concerned enforcement officer and ward officer along with team of Enforcement officials. “The violator without having permission was going for illegal construction”, reads the statement, adding that” acting promptly the demolition squad conducted demolition Friday”. The SMC in it’s statement also said that besides this one structure coming at Gangbukgh without permisssion was also demolished
The SMC has appealed the residents to apply for proper building permissions from Competent Authority and not to construct any structure without permission,warning that SMC shall be continuing with the demolition drives with regard to unauthorized constructions and will ensure that no construction without permission is allowed .

Wani visited the residence ofthe deceased for condoling the killing of Babar Qadri at Utikoo Tangmarg and expressed his shock over the killing. He said “such killing are highly condemnable and heartbreaking” . He slso expressed heartfelt Condolences with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
