Jammu: Eight artists who are either members or executives of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu have participated in ‘Love Revolution’, an Online International art Exhibition organized by Art Novelty Gallery, Mizoram in collaboration with ICCR (Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India). A total of 246 artists from 37 countries including 25 States & 3 Union Territories of India are participating in the global show curated by Lalhming Mawii.
According to Sh. O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, it’s a proud moment for JKCCA that the art works of eight artists working on various ranks in JKCCA, viz. Gaytri (Hoshiarpur, Punjab), Archana Choudhary (Madhubani, Bihar), Pratima Singh (Lucknow, UP), Swati Jain (Bhopal, MP), Dr. Alka Chadha Harpalani (Bangalore, Karnataka), O P Sharma and Jang S. Verman (Jammu, J&K) have been displayed in the International show which was inaugurated today.
It may be mentioned here that JKCCA is a premier organization of J&K working with missionary zeal for the last twenty years for the development of Art, Culture & Languages in and outside the state. JKCCA has organized a large number of art & culture activities including seven International Art Exhibitions and a number of National Exhibitions and Camps of Art across the states of the country.
