Almighty Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. For human understanding He presents an example; A brilliant star like light from a lamp in a niche, one not kindled by heat or fire. He is the Eternal , Living and self Subsisting. To Him belong all things in the heavens and the earth. He knows all things and occurrences. He feels no fatigue in administering the entire Universe. He is the Sovereign, the Guardian, the Preserver, the Prevailing and Exalted in Power. He is the Creator, the Evolver and the Bestower of all forms and colours. It is He who causes the seeds and nuts to split and sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. It is He who cleaves daybreak from the darkness of the night. His are the most beautiful names. He knows what every female bears. . Every object, seen and unseen is before His sight. There exists not a single grain in the dark depths of neither the sea nor a thing fresh or dry on the face of earth but in His knowledge and record. To Him alone belongs the Knowledge of the final Hour. The decree of Resurrection Day is as easy to Him as the winking of an eye and even swifter because He is most powerful over all things. He is the Creator of all living beings and thus can restore them to life again. He does what He wills without the consultation, approval or assistance of others. When He wills a thing He only says to it “Be” and it is. The Holy Quran Says in ( Surah 2, V-255) “Allah ! There is no god but He- the living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.
To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: And all affairs are referred back to Allah. He merges Night into Day, and He merges Day into Night; and He has full knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts.
No slumber can seize him or sleep. Hi s are all things in the havens and on earth, Who is there, can intercede in His Presence except as He permitteth? He Knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of his knowledge, except as He willeth. His throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme” The Holy Quran Says in ( Surah 57, V 4-6) “ He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in Six days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne(of authority). He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And he is with you where ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do. The Holy Quran again says in ( Surah 35, V-13) “ He merges night into day, and He merges day into night, and He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His Law): Each one runs its course for a term appointed.
