SP Handwara held interaction with soldiers at DPL Handwara

Handwara: With an aim to enquire about well being and redress the personal as well as professional grievances of police ranks, SP Handwara Dr.G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS held interaction with soldiersat DPL Handwara.
Besides, DySP DAR DPL Handwara and other officers including retired police officers were also present on the occasion.
SP Handwara in his address to the soldiers asked them to effectively focus on their duties, so that the nefarious designs of anti social elements could be well checked in before. He stressed upon all officers and officials to gain public confidence, good will and always be compassionate & helpful to the needy people. He advised the officials to attend the genuine grievances of the people. He also said that the people’s cooperation is necessary in making environment peaceful.
He stressed upon officers and soldiers to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing duties. He also appreciated the role of Handwara police during covid-19 pandemic.
With regard to welfare measures of the officials, they were heard passionately and were assured that due care will be taken in this aspect too.
Further a team of experts from medical faternity were called who gave awareness about the misuse of drugs and the measures to be taken to prevent illegal use of such drugs. They also highlighted the role of public in general and police in particular in eradicating drug menace.
