Handwara Police facilitates Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Langate

Srinagar: As a part of public outreach program, Police public interaction meeting was held at Police Post Langate while following socials distancing norms and other protocols. A statement issued by police reads as under:-
The meeting was chaired by IC Police Post Langate and was attended by respectable citizens including trader’s federation, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Numberdars and prominent members of civil society of the area. The meeting was conveyed to hear the issues of Public and to make a strong bond between Police and Public. In the meeting the participants raised various issues related to police and other civil departments. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. He also sought their co-operation in harmonizing Police Public relationship.The participants were also asked for their full co-operation in adherence to the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the police & civil administration from time to time in view of Covid -19 pandemic. The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.
