Srinagar police seeks help of general public to identify the suspect of Dastageer Sahab Shrine theft

Srinagar: Srinagar police seeks help of general public in identifying the thief caught in camera involved in a theft at Dastageer Sahab Shrine Khanyar.

On 13-09-2020, Police Station Khanyar received an information from Intizamiya Committee of Dastageer Sahab Shrine Khanyar that during intervening night some unkown theif/thieves have attempted to break the donation box for stealing cash from the said donation box. After the commission of crime, the suspected person escaped from the spot.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 66/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khanyar and investigation is going on.

A special investigation team has been constituted to investigate the case and CCTV footage as well as photographs of the suspect have been collected for the purpose of investigation.

General public is requested to share any information regarding the suspected person with Srinagar Police on 0194-2455049, 7006621918, 9469665786 & 9596760874 or Police Control Room on 112.(KNS)
