Handwara Police facilitates police community partnership group (PCPG) meeting

Handwara: As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meeting was held at Police Station Handwara.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Handwara and was attended by respectable citizens including traders federation and prominent members of civil society of the area.
The main aim of the meeting was to seek cooperation from the general public in adherence of the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the district administration from time to time for the prevention of COVID-19 while dealing with their day to day activities.
The participants raised various issues during the meeting. The chairing officers assured them that issues pertaining to police will be redressed on priority basis while as other issues shall be conveyed to the concerned departments for early redressal.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.
