Inter-Zone Distt level Volleyball tournament kick started at Kulgam

Kulgam: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat Friday inaugurated District level Inter-Zone Volleyball tournament at Sports Stadium, Kulgam.
The event was organized by the District Youth Services and Sports Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that our children have enormous talent and potential that they demonstrate at national and international level.
The DDC interacted with the players stressing to take up sports along with academics and channelize their potential in full.
He added that sports activities have a significant impact on the social and mental development of youth adding that games inculcate sportsmanship qualities, teamwork and discipline.
The DDC directed the concerned and participants to follow SOPs and guidelines in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
Among others, District Youth Services and Sports Officer and other staff members of District Youth Services and Sports office were present on the occasion.
