Srinagar: A seven-year-old girl was crushed to death on Thursday while the locals also staged a protest against the incident in Damjan village of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police sources said a tractor (without registration number) crushed a seven-year-old girl to death near Damjan. They identified the deceased girl as Zareena Jan, daughter of Shabir Ahmad Bhat of Damjan Qazigund.
Soon after the incident, the locals blocked the link road at Damjan where these tractor and tipper drivers carry construction materials.
